
Basic Operating Procedures
Starting the Machine
- Perform a full walk-around inspection (fluids, tires, leaks).
- Enter the cab and fasten seatbelt.
- Ensure the transmission is in neutral.
- Turn the key to start and allow the engine to idle briefly.
Loader Operation
- Use the joystick or control levers to lift, lower, and tilt the loader bucket.
- Always travel with the bucket low to maintain center of gravity.
- Avoid overloading the bucket to maintain stability.
Backhoe Operation
- Stabilize the machine using the outrigger legs.
- Use the controls to position the boom, dipper, and bucket.
- Dig by curling the bucket, pulling with the dipper, and lifting with the boom.
- Always operate smoothly to avoid unnecessary stress on hydraulic systems.
Safety Reminders
- Never move the machine while the backhoe is in a digging position.
- Be aware of underground utilities before digging.
- Always park on a flat surface, lower the bucket and backhoe to the ground, and set the parking brake before exiting.
Maintenance Reminders
- Daily: Check engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid, and tire pressure.
- Every 10 Hours: Grease pivot points.
- Every 250 Hours: Replace engine oil and filter.
- Every 500 Hours: Inspect and service hydraulic filters.
