- Daily/10-Hour Checks (Operator Responsibility)
- Fluid Levels: Check engine oil, transmission, and hydraulic fluid levels.
- Air Cleaner: Clean the dust unloader valve.
- Greasing: Grease specified points (like stabilizer legs).
- Visual Inspection: Walk around the machine, checking for leaks, damage, and tire pressure.
- Every 100 Hours (Initial & Regular)
- Engine Oil & Filter: Change engine oil and replace the filter.
- Transmission Filter: Replace the transmission oil filter.
- Fuel Sample: Take a diesel fuel sample.
- Every 500 Hours
- Fluid Samples: Take engine and hydraulic fluid samples.
- MFWD: Check MFWD (Mechanical Front Wheel Drive) planetary and axle oil levels (if equipped).
- Every 1000 Hours / Annually (Whichever Comes First)
- Hydraulics: Service hydraulic system, potentially including fluid/filter change.
- Engine: Inspect cooling fins.
- Every 2000 Hours / Major Service
- Transmission: Drain and refill transmission and torque converter oil.
- Battery: Check electrolyte levels, clean/tighten terminals.
- Axles: Check rear axle fluid level.
- Fluids & Filters (Key Specifications)
- Engine Oil: Use 15W40 Diesel Engine Oil.
- Trans/Hydraulic Fluid: Use John Deere Hytrans fluid (or equivalent)
