The Essential John Deere R900i Series Sprayers Service Manual

The John Deere R900i Series trailed crop sprayers—comprising the R944i, R952i, and R962i models—represent the pinnacle of agricultural spraying technology. With tank capacities ranging from 4,400 liters on the R944i to 6,200 liters on the R962i, and featuring the advanced dual-circuit PowrSpray system, these machines are designed for maximum efficiency and application accuracy . To keep these sophisticated implements operating at peak performance, access to comprehensive technical documentation is essential. The John Deere R944i, R952i, and R962i Trailed Sprayers Service Manual is that definitive resource.

While operator’s manuals (such as OMWZW16250 or OMWZW15980) cover daily operation and basic maintenance, the service manual delves deep into every system of these complex sprayers . It provides the same detailed information used by factory-trained technicians, enabling owners and mechanics to perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, and calibrations.

The heart of these sprayers is the PowrSpray dual-circuit hydraulic system, which features separate pumps for filling and spraying . The service manual provides complete coverage of this system, including the 1,200 L/min self-priming centrifugal filling pump and the 750 L/min centrifugal spray pump . It includes detailed hydraulic schematics, pressure testing procedures, and repair instructions for pumps, valves, and the Solution Command operator’s station with its electronic controls .
