The Mf1533 Mf1540 range is powered by 3-cylinder diesel engines (except for the MF Mf1533 Mf1540 which is a 4-cylinder model).These are fuel-efficient engines with torque characteristics that have been specifically designed to provide optimum productivity and easy day-to-day operation.
The tractors are fitted with a one-piece liftup bonnet and removable side panels, giving easy access for servicing and maintenance.
All the models are equipped with selectable 4-wheel drive for better traction and manoeuvrability, giving optimum performance.
Ease-of-operation and reliability comes from a dry clutch. Gear and range selection is controlled with a simple-to-operate clutch pedal and two levers.
The MF 1533, MF 1540 and the MF 1547 tractors are fitted with a 12 forward and 12 reverse speed mechanical gearbox offering synchronized gear changes for more effective operation, with speeds from 0.37 km/h to 30 km/h. A synchronised shuttle also allows quick and efficient changes in direction.
Reverse speeds are approximately 95% of the equivalent forward speed.
